Kaiso Steven Hatfield began his training at a very young age and has earned black belt rank in multiple styles. After meeting Master James L. Parrish, the highest ranking Black Belt under Master West, Kaiso Hatfield chose to train in a style of martial art that would help complete the creation of his new modern street-based self defense system.
While keeping some of the traditional training values, Kaiso Hatfield chose to teach a modern system that incorporates offensive and defensive techniques, utilizing drills and techniques that are effective enough for all ages, and giving each student the ability to think on their own and react to any and all situations that they may be faced with in their day to day life. He is the founder of Ryu-Saiichi-Do Karate and Tenshi-Akuma-Do Aiki Jujutsu, both of which he teaches out of his school, the Technician Dojo, in Columbus, Ohio. Kaiso Steven Hatfield, through his instructor Hasaka Yutashi, has become one of the inheritors of the All Japan Karate-Do Federation, one of the world's oldest karate-based organizations founded in 1946 by Toyama Kanken. Kaiso Hatfield brings a lineage to the USAMA that is unparallelled, tracing back to Minamoto Yoshimitsu (1025-1127). For more information, please click here. |
