What Complaints Do We Handle?
Disputes that relate to martial arts issues experienced with the instruction or conduct of an accredited school. The USAMA reserves the right to reject complaints that use abusive or foul language.
We do not handle:
How do we handle your complaint? Everything you submit will be forwarded to the school within two business days. They will then be asked to respond within 14 days, and if a response is not received, a second request will be made. You will be notified of the school’s response when we receive it (or notified that we received no response). Complaints are usually closed within 30 business days. |

Although the USAMA does not have legal and policing powers, we provide information about martial arts fraud through alerts on scams to the public. We are often the first organization to know about a developing scam and alert authorities and the public. When a scam or illegitimate martial arts school develops in one part of the country, the news travels quickly between martial arts schools that in turn alert the public in their communities.
